This well known coffeeshop has a new location, which is sadly not as well known - but I don't know why! The staff are great, as is the menu. A few of my favourite strains are on the menu here, the staff are happy to show their products and are well trained in the info about them!

Fine dining combined with tasty flavours from my vaporizer - perfect!

The Caramella Cream is a soft, sweet Morrocan hash. Great taste!

The OG Reek'n is very aptly named strain; this OG hybrid from Devils Harvest Seeds packs a punch. As soon as you open the bag the dank, heavy OG aroma from the Rollex OG Kush hits your nose; intensified by the intoxicating smell of the Wardareek'n. This is one heavy indica! Expect dense, light colored buds with dark leaves and tan hairs, dripping with resin and guaranteed to leave the room Reek'n!

A lot of Dutch people I know are big fans of this coffeeshop. It's quite a large coffeeshop with an extensive menu. While the selection may not be as new or varied as some places the quality is a good. The prices are also pretty good. Boerejongens is quite from the center but its a great place to go if you are staying or live in the area. I don't hear the name mentioned too often but when I do its always good stuff!

You see Dabstars at almost every cannabis cup! These guys are everywhere and they're generally surrounded by huge crowds with piles of stuff to giveaway!

...and they had a better weed menu than expected. :) The staff at The Old Church are very friendly, eagerly advising and recommending strains. I tried a few strains in my trips there, they have some great hash, and I have some Pineapple Express I will be reviewing at http://andrew.pyrah.net very soon! I also picked up some Dr Grinspoon for a friend and he as very happy with it! The Old Church has a good selection of quality buds that you can relax and enjoy in their beautiful shop! I love the art on the wall and the open, fresh design.

EdiPure have an amazing selection of medicated canabis edibles. I can really appreciate that many patients don't want to smoke their medicine so a tasty little edible seems perfect, and its got to taste better than pills and capsules all day.

I love the options with this vaporizer. Being able to add an extra air chamber, or my personal favorite the water chamber really adds an extra level to this vaporizer. A big fat joint with a green glowing cannabis leaf on the tip. How could you not like that! I tried some of their focus moodchanger and found it a bit like the effect of a cup of coffee, looking forward to trying a few more of their cool products, especially the fill-it vaporizer, which looks awesome. All of the e-njoint people I met at their stand were very friendly and very knowledgeable.

The list of medicinal benefits of the cannabis plant just keeps on growing. CBD is a big part of this and companies like Care By Design (love the name by the way) are making this medicine available to people to use easily and get the relief they need. Great work guys!

In a word, wow. There were some amazing glass blowers at Champs. I visited the show on Vegas, it was a privelage to be able to watch them work the torches live.

The expo was packed full of glass blowers, vaporizer companies and loads of cool new products and talented people passionate about what they do. It was a great event, this was my first but I hope to go to many more in the future.

Chocolate and cannabis, probably two of humanity's favourite things. Bhang brings them together in their tasty treats, the dark chocolate bar being my favourite. If you like cannabis and chocolate then you have to try it, and who doesn't!

I love the advancement of cannabis products like this in the USA. Cannabis culture is definitely moving forward and products like the Eureka Vapor and their co2 extracted hash oil show this. Great little device that's easy to use, discreet and gives smooth hits.

I've been a big fan of WeedStar for a while, they make good quality bongs for fair prices. I've got quite a few WeedStar bongs in my collection, love them all!

Wow there is a vaporizer for every person here, I'm quite impressed by the selection of vaporizers you can get now. I especially like all the stealthy portable vapes, very handy for on the go! The volcano will always be a favourite though. Nice to see a good collection of vapes all in one place for good prices.

Azarius has a great selection of smart shop and head shop items, including lots of smart drugs - I'm not sure what a lot of them are but thankfully the staff are more than happy to explain. Nice, clean, modern shop. It's also not far from Leidseplein which would be handy for many tourists and visitors to the city, or take a walk down to the musueums with some magic truffles!

Hortilab have some beautiful strains, I've tried and reviewed a few strains, including the Sour Power, the Sour Pink Grapefruit and Starbud. All have been really resinous top quality buds with unique aromas and all very strong, some great genetics that I definitely recommend to any smoker or grower you wants to try something new. They also stock a selection of high end glass bongs and pipes. The shop itself is dominated by the very cool Hortiab themed wall art.

Smoked some very tasty White Choco Block hash from here. I'm not normally much of a hash smoker but really enjoyed a joint of this stuff, it was clean and had a good flavour and nice balanced high to it. The coffeeshop is also really well designed, I love the clean, open style - feels a bit more professional that a lot of coffeeshops. The kind "doctors" at Boerejongens gave me the medicine my mind needed!

There aren't many good coffeeshops in Amsterdam Noord, but Het Filiaal is a little different. It was a locals coffeeshop, and still has that atmosphere, but they are now ran by Hunters so the menu and the quality of the weed has improved a little. They have a smaller selection selection than the other Hunter's shops. The Strawberry Diesel and the G13 Amnesia are my favourites from the menu.

Really friendly staff, the man on the door welcomed me and my friends in with a smile and we were served quickly. A cool little sandwich shop in the center of the city.

Bought some really tasty Cheese here a few nights ago. I'm not normally in this area but I found myself in the Oud West in need of some good weed, a friend recommend the Kashmir Coffeeshop so I thought I'd go take a look at their menu. The staff were very friendly, happy to show me a few different strains from their menu and recommending a few choices. The Cheese looked good and smelt even better so I ended up buying a few grams of that. Very happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be back to check out the rest of their menu!

It closes early, its hard to find, its very small and not the most comfortable BUT very friendly atmosphere with a hardcore crowd of smokers, often from the US. The walls are covered with stickers and photos which adds a more personal feel.

Marijuana menu: A great menu! All high quality strains. Lots of strains from DNA Genetics such as LA Con, Kushberry and Martian Mean Green. And house strains like Grey Haze and Grey Berry. Only top strains, its all about the weed here.

Service & staff: The small size of the coffeeshop can make good service hard, as its gets full very easily. But the staff are always friendly and apologise for your wait and then sell you some of the best weed in Amsterdam.

Summary : Worth the hassle to get their, and even harder to get a seat. But great weed and friendly personal service make it one of Amsterdams best!

Met a friend here the other night and relaxed with a few drinks and a smoke. The atmosphere is really relaxed and the staff are very friendly. Great if you want to enjoy a drink with your smoke. They also have hookah pipes available to use.

DNA Genetics are a big name in the cannabis seed industry. These guys are from the states originally and bring the heavy hitting genetics from places like California. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a heavy hitting Indica.

Roor was one of the first companies making quality glass for smokers. There shop is well worth a look in, just to see the big selection of bongs, pipes and other goodies they have. 

This place produces a hell of a lot of truffles! I'm not really much of a tripper but this company has been around for a while so I think they are pretty reliable.

I'm not normally a big fan of tobacco alternatives - most of them tend to taste disguisting. However this one is something I can actually smoke. I've seen it in a lot of coffeeshops where tobacco smoking is now banned and while it might not be my first choice its definitely better than nothing...and almost certainly healthier than tobacco!

Innerspace have a great staff who have a huge knowledge when it comes to magic mushrooms, truffles and other smart products. If you want to know what you're taking and how to do it properly then this place is worth a visit.

Firstly, you've got to love the name Funky Munkey. This cool little coffeeshop with a pretty good menu. The dealers booth is located right by the door before you go into the rest of the coffeeshop so its great for quick purchases. The menu is normally pretty good though sometimes a little expensive. Maybe not worth the walk out to it but if you're in the area you should definitely check it out!

I'm not a big drinker but I do like a smoke, whereas some people like to drink but don't smoke Cannabis (for some reason). Thats one of the cool things about Amsterdam - there are bars where you can smoke weed and drink a beer or glass a wine. A good place to meet friends and chill out. They also have the option of using their Hookah/Shisha pipes so you can relax in style.

The location of this coffeeshop is just perfect for people just getting into Amsterdam. Central also opens nice and early in the morning so it be almost certainly be the first point of call for many. The menu isn't the greatest and tends to be a lot of cheaper, more common strains - but occasionally they have something special and the prices are normally good. I probably wouldn't stay here for long but great as first stop on an early morning on your first day in the city.

Clean and fresh, Rusland is split across 3 levels with lots of comfy seating and a large smoking area. Decent menu. Good selection of strains, good quality and fair price. They also have a decent selection of hash. Friendly service. Seems to be more of a locals shop that allows tourists aswell. 

A big coffeeshop spread across 3 floors. A very modern funky theme, with a few pool tables. They even have a restaurant upstairs. Lots of comfortable seating and tables.
Marijuana menu: A reasonable selection not the greatest but considering their size and location they give fair quality for ok prices. Everything sold comes in pink bags which does make it easy to remember where you got it from.
Service & staff: The size of the coffeeshop can make things confusing but the staff seem ready to help and even suggested I go for something else that was better than the weed I was going to buy.
Summary : Large coffeeshop with pool tables, a restaurant and a good menu, maybe not great but ok prices and quality. A good place to chill out.
