de Dampkring has long been serving up a large selection of weed and hash. Previously a cafe coffeeshop with alcohol served, and made famous when a scene from the movie Oceans 12 with Brad Pitt and George Clooney was shot there.

Dampkring Amsterdam is situated in the Handboogstraat 29 in Amsterdam, not far from the famous Amsterdam Flower market. Relax in this beautiful area of Amsterdam and enjoy a coffee and a smoke at the Dampkring. One of the better shops in the centre

Since this is the only 'real' Dampkring left, I can't help but feel that it's the only one that still has its old character. Good location, pretty good bud (albeit a tad bit expensive for what you get sometimes), very nice decor, and helpful staff. Full details

Come for the Cannabis stay for the stoned cat

This is a must stop! The atmosphere is always electric. Usually you will see some type of tour group taking pictures in front of the de Dampkring.
