Worth the trip for the weed but the lack of seating can be a pain.
Small & cramped + if you like a seat your better to just buy & go during rush hour.
Marijuana menu: Never bought from there funny enough but i do hear they are 1 of the better places in amsterdam to score weed.

A compact little place that`s worth the walk,Maybe a little small but it has character! a place i will visit again for sure.

Service & staff: The service was very good i found! i didnt have a lighter but the woman behind the counter loaned me hers for the duration i was there,I offered it back but she was adament i kept it as she had another! overall a found it 1 of the better places to visit.

Barneys is a cool place & i will go there again for sure.
Barneys was ok features wise! ie clean & modern.
Marijuana menu: I bought some sweet tooth from barneys during the 2007 cup & i found it over-rated to be honest,I found the G-13 haze a far better purchase overall.
Service & staff: The service wasnt bad! i didnt have to wait long + i got my weed with a smile.

Centraal is worth the trip for the black hash alone.
Another small compact place! if you like a seat its best to avoid rush hour.
Marijuana menu: The menu wasnt to bad,The menu as it happens is a self service box on the counter where you just help yourself! trully awsome & i liked that touch,Ps i got some bombay black just after i landed & it was worth the wait.
Service & staff: Service was cool! the place was packed when i arrived but the guys there done there best to deal with the masses.

A place to avoid
Nothing special @ all! the T.V didnt even have a clear picture.
Marijuana menu: Bought some colombian (12.50) from there during the 2007 cup & its was pure vile,Also the orange bud wasnt much better! ie headache material.
Service & staff: I give the service an 8 as the guy was actualy alright,Pitty the weed menu wasnt the same.

Its not to bad! a biker feel to the place.

Hunters bar is worth the trip
Hunters bar was cool! + the tropical fish tanks were a nice touch i thought.

Sadly old style has closed down & it doesnt look like opening up again any time soon.
Small but it was ok.

Worth the visit.

Service & staff: Friendly & helpfull,& when i said i was with the the smokersguide crew the asian guy with glasses on the hash counter went into overdrive expaining the dynamics of "good hash".

Rockerij was 1 of the highlights of the whole trip.
It has a great vibe to the place! the candles & the arabic feel is a nice touch.

Overall another tourist trap to avoid,Ie small cramped/overpriced + that arabic guy will do your head in with his egotism,Needle

Service & staff: The young guy on the counter was cool + the eldest fat guy was ok also,But the tall/skinny arabic guy in the middle was an ignorant git! i am surprised no1 has clipped his wings after the way he was treating & talking to the women who were walking past.
