Boerejongers at the Utrechtsestraat certainly  is one of the most classy "joints" in town. The white marble countertop and wallcovering with just an accent of added wooden shelves gives it an ultra fresh and clean appeal, almost feel as if you mistakenly did step into a high-end pharmacy..Though the shop is quite small every inch has been put to extremely good use. LOVE IT! It makes for quite a difference compared to the mostly grungy atmosphere so common in A'dam's shops! The staff is dressed to fit the code, very helpful and polite. The menu is one of the most extensive, offering a broad selection of  quality strains and hashes to cater for anyone's taste, and all of this at a more reasonable price then most other shops I did visit over the past months (only "The Stud" was comparable price / quality wise). Their White choco block hash offered at 8,5 euro, Morroco grown from a dutch strain (White Choco), in my opinion (though they were out of stock last sunday) must be one of the top value for money deals in the whole of A'dam! The weeds I did try always were top notch. A true gem of a shop, highly recommended!

Though Voyagers' menu is not the most extensive their offerings all are top notch! Well manicured, clean smoking and properly cured delights.  Though pricing is quite up-market the smoke is there to match! Friendly staff too. If paying the extra buck is no dilema Voyagers certainly comes highly recommended, offering some of the better gear in town!

A raunchier, bare knuckles kinda place (visited only the shop, not the smokerooms). Had some of their Purple Kush as recommended by the tender (the OG was gone). Though a quite potent smoke it tasted a bit rough, reminiscent of "fleurs de matras" - quite earthy and a bit dull, lacking the spice to pump things up..

Tucked away in a small alley this shop is easily overlooked, but worthwhile to be checked-out. Quite spacious saloon type of place, quite dark but not unpleasant. Been here on a couple of occassions and they always have some good smoke on offer, much in tie with what the "Dampkring" are offering (makes me wonder if they belong to the same group?). Had their G13-Anmesia & their C5-Pioneer last. The G13 was some of the more racier smokes of last, showing it's Amnesia (on steriods) heritage. Aromatic, sour and pungent smoke, fast hitting high. Not for everyday use but fun from time to time. Medium to high pricing.

Getting to the counter in this extremely tiny but immensely popular shop is somewhat of an experience on it's own! If you are claustrofobic then don't go there. Only visited here once very recently and indeed was extremely satisfied by their Tangie offering. Need to investigate this one further for sure if I manage to face the cue. Might look for one of the other shops offering that DNA Genetics stuff though.

Went back today (11/1)... still super crowded but mentally better prepaired. Got some Shoreline - never had tried this strain before and liking it a lot.... Jodium on the nose and palate, very distinctive in taste. Very, very nice! What I have tasted so far from the Grey Area offerings really stands out quality wise! Though expensive (less so then Barney's) this shop only sells top gear!

The original Dampkring certainly is one of the nicest shops to visit in the center of town. The shop has a welcoming feel to it, it's warm toned wooden interior and lack of that "overly" important multi-media shit happening in most boots, makes for a very likeable place to visit. The menu is well filled by quality selections, offered at medium high rates.

Have a bit of a mixed love affair with Barney's place (Haarlemmerstraat). It is always extremely busy and crowed there. Though they have some of the best smoke available in town it comes at premium pricing. I do not mind to pay the extra buck for quality offerings if the greens are up to spec. Their Cookies Kush really can be out of this world but was quite irregular in quality on different visits, which should not be the case offered at 18 euro a gram! I guess the overwhelming success and forthcoming demand has put a "strain" on this strain! Hopefully with Barney's Farm offering the goodies we will see a more steady supply as more growers adapt the strain. Had nice tastings of some of their other offerings which do not yet suffer from the same stress. The Liberty Haze and Tangerine Dream are rock solid!

Did visit this shop for the 1st time last sunday. It's situated in the outback of A'dam but after the rave reviews here we went the extra few miles with great expectations. The shop itself is a pretty straightforward "take away" kinda place.  A nice selection of quality strains was on offer. As I went with a mate we were able to get a nice sample set of the goodies on offer and all present great value for money, some of the best pricing in town! Very friendly & helpful staff!! I'll make sure to visit again soon!
