Great location, products & people

I was very happy with this place. Found it in your book, was easy to get to by walking up from Leidseplein. Got there it was packed so I looked at all great tripping and sex products until like magic, the shop suddenly emptied and the 2 guys working were able to really talk to me and take the worry out about the psychedelic trip we would experience. Magic truffles, wow!!!! Great feeling, funny and so much to see! Ended up sitting by the canal watching the boats and giggling madly. 3 hours went like 30 mins! I would recommend When nature calls to anyone thinking of tripping or looking for sexual stimulants in Amsterdam.

cool, discreet product

I suffer from unknown joint pain that comes and goes. Possible restless leg syndrom or fybromyalgia - never diagnosed. I hate to ever use regular painkillers, so usually bear with it. Certain days are better and I can handle it, but others are just torture. I had a chance to try this spray from a friend who recommended it as a natural remedy for pain. 

I sprayed it under my tongue as per the instructions on the bottle - 3 sprays. It didnt taste of anything special (though I had a slightly congested nose so may have missed the flavor). My mouth felt slightly oily, but that was it. It doesnt taste good, it doesnt taste bad. 

After a while, I forgot about it. My friend, after 30 minutes asked me how am I doing in the pain department. I then realized that my joint pain has gone away. Don't know how, don't know when, but I am buying myself a small suply of this medicated anti-pain juice ;-)

One of my favorites for decor and location. In the middle of the Redlight District. Super place for people watching cause its on the corner, but not much space. Very unique but tiny shop.
Marijuana menu: Great selection; many people were coming in just to buy weed, so that seems like a good sign to me!

A good shop to stop by in the Leidseplein area Never seen anything like it! You don't even have to smoke anything strong to feel tripped out. Even the outside of the building matches the interior
Marijuana menu: Good selection and some of the hash I saw looked really good!
Service & staff: Service was quick and friendly. I like the bar area upstairs, you can sit at the bar and talk to the staff. The downstairs is cozy too, especially when you have a larger group.

The place is rather touristy, but not in a bad way I really like this shop! Nice and clean with cool lighting and generally nice quality interior. Chill music and relaxing atmosphere.
Marijuana menu: A bit on the pricey side I think, but the quality of the weed looked really good! And the names were pretty original too!
Service & staff: The young guy working behind the bar was very friendly and helpful. He was patient with us when selecting our weed.

Great location but not the coziest spot in town This is the first CS I have ever been too. It was pretty dirty and cold, but I was overwhelmed anyway. It was pouring rain outside and I found a place to hide and have a hot choco with my spliff. Unforgettable!
Marijuana menu: Was quite baked by the time I got there, my friends got some gear, but i could not tell the difference. I would guess that the menu was rather touristy with high prices and low quality, but can't say for sure.
Service & staff: Friendly guys singing along to reggae music. He was smoking an enormous joint. I was tripping on his huge dreadlocks. Perfect time ;-)

I like to come to this shop every time I am in the area Perfect decor for me. Intimate and out of the way of crowds of people. It was nice to rest on the couches and the music was good.
Marijuana menu: Expensive with many known names. lots of people popping in and out of the shop just to visit the hash bar.
Service & staff: Nice guy behind the bar. He was very busy the whole time we were there.

No matter what some say, barney's is a MUST during your trip to Amsterdam...I enjoy the Uptown Bar, also pricey but love the in One of a kind! I miss the old tables a bit, but the place is super fresh after renovation...

Service & staff: I am a chick, so male staff usually treats me good :-) I have heard of some staff being arrogant or rude, but come on, everyone can have a bad day...

Located in the heart of the city with computers to use the web I remember this place pre-renovation when it was as dodgy as can be...but I still like it! Now it is more modern and nice; the shitting dog outside makes it easy to find again ;-)
Marijuana menu: I got really high! I somehow do not remember what it was...
Service & staff: Not the greatest service, though when they served alcohol it mattered less than now...the hash bar guy - don't know his name, but he was very tall, was pretty arrogant for no reason...
