Hunters Bar

this was one of my favourite coffeeshops in amsterdam, it had a good vibe to it and i could just sit back and chill out the atmosphere in this coffee shop is amazing, there tended to be more couples in there than groups of mates which allowed me to enjoy a nice smoke and it was nicely set out so that there wasn't as many tables crammed in as possible.
Marijuana menu: the weed menu was good in this bar. there was some good weed to choose from
Service & staff: the service was brilliant, the girl behind the bar had a smile on her face and was always cleaning ensuring that tables weren't covered in bottles and empty glasses

Rokerij - CLOSED 2011

this is a nice coffee shop although i felt that maybe they had tried to put too much in they had compromised smoking space for g when i walked down the steps of de rokerij, it was like stepping into something completely different.they have really nice relaxing chairs, and the place is dimmly lit allowing you to get more and more stoned without be paranoid that everyone is watching ???
Marijuana menu: the menu here was pretty good although the guy selling it could have cheered up a bit. prices were reasonable, but not the best in amsterdam
Service & staff: the girl behind the bar was very friendly, and we got served straight away

The Store (The Doors)

eat mushrooms and come here nice place generally. the music is always quite loud, but the bar staff are ok and its quite comfortable.
Marijuana menu: weed menu in here was a bit shit really. smoked some super crystal and it was pretty mediocre.
Service & staff: the service was ok, took a while for someone to serve me, but there was a friendly feel about the place.

Popeye Coffeeshop

Barneys Coffeeshop

barneys is a rally nice place the bar is better than the coffeshop next door. you can still get high, but it is smaller and more comfortable. it isnt usually busy, and they have some really nice tunes.
Marijuana menu: some fine weed in here. had morning glory myself, but mates bought sweet tooth, laughing buddah and stella blue. all really nice.
Service & staff: really good service. even the manager was ok. he forgot our drinks a couple of times, but apart from that it was good.

Noon (the)

nice place really nice place. really comfortable seats, but when we went in the had the television on watching some shit film!! it would have been better to go when they had some tunes playing.

shit. this place was kind of really shit. it was dirty, un comfortable and looked like a youth club with all the tables laid out, not to mention the youths.

have a piss nice place. comfy seats right at the top, and the toilet is amazing. ou have to piss there to understand what im talking about.
Marijuana menu: some ok weed here, didnt buy any though.
Service & staff: barstaff were quite nice, and its quite cheap here as well, grab a toasted sandwich for 2 or 3 euros, or you could opt for a space cake from the vending machine for only 3.50 euros.

The Greenhouse Effect

.....that anyone could be that much of a dick to you the smaller coffeshop(not the big bar next door) was really shit. we went in and asked for some milkshakes. she assumed we wanted hash in them, "otherwise you'd be in macdonalds right?" NO! give me a cold fucking shake that doesnt taste like shit......
Marijuana menu: .....too much to ask for though it was horrible. i was so stoned and i really want to punch her! the guy selling weed was an ugly english man. this place was on my mind all day. they treat you like shit because they dont think you will give them.....
Service & staff: ....repeat business. well they are right, i will always tell people who are going to amsterdam to avoid this place as much as they can. and when i go back, i will certainly not go back. i really really hated this place, and i was just shocked.....
