Nice idea, horrible staff

I've been here twice and both times the experience was similar. At this coffeeshop expect to be asked for the ID card, nothing to worry about but this is the first tip about how this coffeeshop works. It's modern and everything looks crazy, plenty of TV's at the walls and two floors. The staff was horrible both times, at the menu desk everything was more or less fine (not really interested in advicing us or helping us even asking for), and the chamber was checking at us each 5 min, so we felt under pressure to leave the coffee as soon as we drank our cokes, while the coffeeshop seems made to spend a good time inside, they seem to be more worried about having free tables and making customers go quick... It's expensive so I think there's plenty of places that worhts more than this at few steps behind. Also, the original Dampkring is another thing, where you can expect a wonderful staff (if it's not too crowded).

A must see on Warmoesstraat

In this street you'll find a bunch of coffeeshops, but I remember this one as I was seeking for one and all of them were crowded, so I tried this and came back each time that I went back to A'dam. It's decoration is not what we would say "clean" but it's pretty amazing. All the walls are covered with papers or stickers and paintings giving a pretty cool look overall. There's two floors, the lowest one has a big window which once opened you can see Damrak pretty well from here and also the canal.

Prices are pretty fine for its location and it hasn't got a big but nice menu. Staff is great, always happy to help with any doubts and advicing about the menu.

Its window worth it

Each time I visit Amsterdam I came round this coffee. The red lebannon is highly good, the rest is pretty good as well. Prices are fair, a bit overpriced but as usual on centrum area. It has two floors, with a pool at the basement. If the time is sunny it's great to enjoy a joint seat at the window of the basement which is open if warm temp.
