Alternative Trade Association (ATA)

The Alternative Trade Association (ATA) was formed in the summer of 2008 by a coalition of UK wholesalers. Its objective is to support retailers and counter misguided government initiatives that would be detrimental to our industry.

The ATA also promotes the development of responsible, sustainable enterprises that set a positive example for the growing cannabis industry. They encourage responsible consumer engagement, environmental protection and a use of members businesses as a platform for social change. 

The Alternative Trade Association (ATA) is strictly non partisan and works for the benefit of the industry as a whole.

Membership of the ATA is free and open to all those who are in the trade and are willing to sign up to the principles of the organisation. In return members have access to a solicitor who has many years experience in this field and is able to offer professional and reliable advice.
