Look

At first glance, you know you are holding something special. The photo you are seeing on your screen can hardly begin to show the amount of crystals here. These buds are looking 'pumped up' like a heavyweight fighter bouncing on his toes before a fight. In a mass of thick fuzzy coli and cluttered with larger (yet still crystalled) leaves left on for protection, lay nearly yellow 'fuzzball' calyxes. There are areas that make this weed resemble tiny little Birds of Paradise flowers! I want dibs on the "Buds of Paradise" name; you heard it here first folks! Just from looking bare-eyed (no scope needed) you know that this was plucked at a perfect moment; right at the height of maturity. Everything is looking ready to burst: so let's get lit!

Smell

I eagerly began breaking this weed up by hand and was VERY pleased to be met with such a spicy, herby blend. Almost as if someone had concocted some wicked mutant vegetable juice from this herb: like tomato-tobasco with a tangy twist!

Taste

I had hit this first in a vapo but IMO, like most Hazes, this goes best into a pure joint. Dry-hitting this makes you feel like you are sucking on a sweet kitchen herb like thyme or sweet oregano. Once lit, it burns perfectly, confirming my belief in a proper harvest and cure. My lips were left nicely-numbed. My tongue tingled, my throat began to 'drip' and shit, by that time, I was'

Effects

HIGH! Like really flying on this gear, in a sort of rollercoaster way, where your visuals are blurry and you have these moments of heart-racing acceleration. But then you come to plateaus where I really was quite relaxed, just enjoying the ride.

Overall

All I can say is, I hope there's more of this left around when the Cup ends. It will make for a nice local-fav! This one will certainly do as well as the Arjan's Haze entry from last year' which won top honours!
